Han Tae Sang (Song Seung Heon) is a successful but cold-blooded businessman who is unstoppable once he sets his mind on doing or getting something. That’s because he’s a former gangster who has been able to build a successful business through his own blood, sweat and tears, and everything he’s gotten in his life has been hard-earned. Then one day, he meets Seo Mi Do (Shin Se Kyung), a troubled young woman who is full of drive and ambition and is determined to better her life to forget the hardships of how she grew up. In Mi Do, Tae Sang sees so much of his own personality that he is drawn to her fire and passion. As he begins to fall in love with her, he realizes that he will do anything to protect her and try to give her a better life.  

Jeong Do-man is a low-ranking traffic cop whose tendency to do things "by the book" sometimes gets him in trouble, such as when he pulls over his new boss, newly instated police chief Lee Seung-man, and issues him with a traffic ticket. Though surprised and annoyed by the unexpected fine, the police chief has bigger problems; the town of Sampo has been hit by a string of bank robberies, and to reassure the public he decides to carry out a realistic drill which will demonstrate the police force's capability. Do-man is chosen to act out the part of the bank robber, but with his usual fastidious attention to detail he sets out to commit the perfect crime.

Huo En Di and Zhao Sheng Xian were once disciples in the same martial arts sect who were as close as brothers. However, that all changed after their dying shifu chose En Di as his successor with no witnesses except En Di present at his deathbed. Since then, the Huo and Zhao families have been at odds and periodically compete against each other in martial arts showdowns. Huo Yuan Jia, En Di's 4th son, was a sickly child. Therefore, his father never taught him martial arts and instead instructed him to pursue a scholarly path. This hurt Yuan Jia's pride and he secretly began learning martial arts from a mysterious master who had saved his life. One day during one of the usual feud-driven showdowns, Huo En Di and Sheng Xian's eldest disciple brother makes a surprise appearance with revenge in mind, as he feels he should have been the rightful successor of their original sect. When it seems that no one can defeat him, Yuan Jia is forced to reveal the martial arts prowess he had kept hidden for years.

The story centers around Powder, who has been enjoying the world of Dragon Quest X and spends every day playing with party members online. One day, Powder unexpectedly has to share a room in real life with a teammate named Gorō. They discover that their real-life personas are not quite the same as their game personas.
