A romantic comedy about an obscure screenwriter nearing her thirties and a frustrated musician who accidentally end up in a situation where they have to live together. Xiao Yu who works as a screenwriter has achieved nothing despite being in her late 20's. Not only is she fired from her job, her good friend and roommate suddenly tells her that she's leaving to move in with her boyfriend. Xiao Yu has no choice but to move to a small place. In fact, it's her 9th time moving in the big city. In order to make a living, Xiao Yu decides to look for work opportunities with the crew on set. Wanting to save money while she's away, she temporarily leases out her place to Ji Ye, a singer whose in dire straits just like her since his talent has found no outlet for expression. Alas, Xiao Yu is fired from her job again which means that she has to return to Beijing earlier than expected. However, Ji Ye's lease has not yet ended. As such, two people in distress become each other's companions with the belief that tomorrow will be better!
