A sequel to Tomica Hero: Rescue Force, Rescue Fire tells of another branch of the United Fire-Defense Agency that helps save people from Super-Fire created by demons seeking to make people suffer. This series marks the beginning as well as an end of a program franchise dubbed the Tomica Hero Series.

Doo Yeong, the eldest son of the family is planning to go to the police force this time. However, after coming to Seoul from the province, going with his younger brother Doo Yeop to a cram school is not too smooth. His romance with Ji Yeong makes it also harder. Doo Yeong meets a lot of people and worries amidst his longing for success and love in Seoul.

Handsome, bookish Tat attends coming out support meetings with his out and proud friend Nat. The two boys are surprised when Tat’s crush, the hunky athlete Ek, shows up to a meeting. Questioning his sexuality, Ek turns to Tat for advice, and a sweet romance gradually develops, creating an awkward situation between Tat and Nat. To survive and prosper, all three must surmount the homophobia of Thai society, neglectful and abusive home lives, gay bashings, schoolwork and their own love triangle.
