The tale of Tiger & Dragon revolves around, a traditional form of Japanese comedy that can look back on an impressive 400 year long history. Nagase portrays the Yakuza follower Toraji who goes to a Rakugo performer to collect debts, while Okada plays Ryuji a talented Rakugo player who wants to leave behind the old fashioned world of Rakugo for good. Shortly afterwards these two very different characters happen to cross paths through a girl named Megumi and that's when all the real trouble starts igniting.

Former female members gathered at a farewell party for Katsuhito Ando, a teacher of the high school basketball club. Among them, three former captains who wear an aura of unhappiness, Kana Enoki, Yuko Tsuruga, and Akane Miyosawa. Each of them had just been hit by an unexpected event and ridiculed, "My peak was in high school ..." Meanwhile, the situation suddenly changes with a word from her teacher's wife, Kae. "Why don't you live in a basketball dormitory?" In addition to the three who decided to live under one roof, is the son of the teacher, Yuichi, and the daughter of Kana, Tamaki, and six people of different generations. "Pseudo family" life begins. Is there a one-shot reversal in their lives while each is trying to change?!

Kosaka is a genius violinist and concertmaster who rejoins an orchestra which was originally disbanded in the wake of the recession. However, the new prospective members sound terrible together when they gather in a practice room for the first time.
