Katayama Yu is a young man who lives in the remote but beautiful village of Kamonmura. He has lived there since he was a child and is unable to leave due to an incident in his past. To pay off his mother's debt, Katayama Yu works in a garbage disposal facility nearby. He lives without a dream or hope in his life. One day, Nakai Misaki returns to Kamonmura from Tokyo. Katayama Yu and Nakai Misaki were childhood friends. Her return changes Katayama Yu.

The SBS Entertainment Awards (Hangul: SBS 연예대상; Hanja: -演藝大賞) is an awards ceremony held yearly, sponsored by Seoul Broadcasting System (SBS). The awards ceremony is approximately 140 minutes long and is shown in two parts on SBS. This event is held at the end of each year, and awards are given to the best entertainers in the industry. Since 2014, it is part of the SBS Awards Festival, along with SBS Gayo Daejeon and SBS Drama Awards. Since 2017, SAF Entertainment Award had been renamed back to SBS Entertainment Award.

Mrs. Hong's family, launches a new business of setting up a kimchi manufacturing company after putting an end to their crime-related dirty business. The new business is a huge success due to Mrs. Hong's talent in food, and her three sons and their wives help her to write a new chapter for their family history, learning what an ordinary man's life is like. But the Hongs meet a new crisis when former prosecutor Bong, imprisoned for manipulating evidences in the second installment, is released and prepares for a revenge on the Hongs, who largely contributed to his conviction. Bong, along with the help of another criminal gang come up with an idea to pay back the Hongs. He poisons the products from Hong's brand which causes the family to be on the verge of going out of business. But as Bong's simple plot succeeds, the Hongs easily tackle the crisis in the end. And to fill the empty space in the flimsy story, much of the film is devoted to scenes of recollection of each character's past.
