In 2035, alien dark forces raided the earth in an attempt to capture the survival of mankind. Energy treasures, the earth where the energy is located, have been hit hard in turn. The borders of the country were broken, and the elites of various countries formed a joint army. Humanity united against alien invaders and established an energy bastion called "bubble defense" in the few remaining energy cities to defend against alien attacks. With the fall of the fortress cities of New York, Tokyo, New Delhi and so on, Shanghai has become the last hope of mankind. College student Jiang Yang (Lu han) followed the female commander Lin (Shu Qi ) into the Shanghai Fortress to become a commander. Alien forces continue to launch a violent attack, Lin was ordered to protect the secret weapon of repelling aliens. Jiang Yang and several friends’ "Grey Eagle Squad" will face the alien invaders and defend the human race in Shanghai.

Bow returns to Thailand after she learns that her boyfriend, Pong (Takphet), has cheated on her and has impregnated Vithinee (Ploy) who he is now going to marry. Vithinee is the younger sister of the male lead, Tos (Porche ) who is the owner of a plantation and is extremely protective over his sickly sister. Lost in the pain of heartbreak and deceit, Bow decides to go to a club alone and drink her pain away. There she somehow ends up in a bad situation — almost being drugged and comprosmised by a criminal. She is, however, saved by Tos, who manages to take her to a private room safely. The protective older brother — unwilling to let Bow ruin his sister's happiness — ends up using this opportunity to tie Bow to himself. He tells Bow's father that he has slept with his daughter, which makes the older man marry Bow off to Tos in order to protect his daughter's virtue. Thus begins a very push and pull lovestory of Bow and Tos.

Kasahara Natsuki is a thirty year-old hairdresser from Tokyo who comes to Sapporo to relax and enjoy a vacation during the 2000 New Year's Eve festival/party. Unfortunately, she gets locked out of her room and meets Kaede Soichirou, a 25 year-old local newspaper photographer. His kind nature impresses her, but they don't exchange personal information and write it off as a chance meeting. Like all women her age, Natsuki's worried about finding shiawase (lifelong happiness) by marrying and starting a family. When she goes to a matchmaking meeting, the friend of her would-be beau is none other than Soichirou. After that meeting takes a turn for the worst, Soichirou follows her out and cheers her up by taking her up for a ride in his single-engine plane. They part company once more, still not knowing each other's names, and write it off as a chance meeting. Arriving home, Natsuki's roommate Haruko announces that her brother Soichirou will be staying with them in their house, after being transferred to Tokyo's newspaper.

Divorced Singeles Special follows Yoon Nam-ki and Lee Da-eun, the couple from season 2 that drew sensational attention to the viewers. After the show ended, the two start preparing the next chapter: getting married and being a family. The program shows the couples' thoughts, conflict, and romance that can reflect the reality of the romantic relationship and marriage for 'divorced single' couples.
