“Running Girls” is a reality program in which female K-pop idols in their twenties join a “running crew” to seek out beautiful natural running courses in South Korea. The show follows a new trend called “run-trips,” where people travel for the sake of finding new and beautiful places to go running.

By chance, Ma Jia, a doctor from the First Affiliated Hospital of Jiangnan University, joined the 25th Chinese medical team to aid Sanna and went to Africa. Faced with completely different environments and huge cultural differences between China and Africa Ma Jia experienced both persistence and giving up. Adjusting and correcting his mentality, to gradually understand what it means to be a Chinese foreign aid doctor in practice. During the two years of foreign aid, during the physical and mental training, and under the scrutiny of emotions and low spirits, Ma Jia and his partners in the foreign aid medical team were stationed in "Maile Village", experiencing happiness, touching reunions, separations, and exciting experiences.

Farhad and Mahi hail from completely different economic and cultural backgrounds. Mahi, who comes from an influential family, must adhere to the conventions and requirements of her family’s class despite her true jovial nature. Farhad on the other hand belongs to a small town and is instantly drawn to the charismatic Mahi and soon forsakes everything for her. Though Mahi appreciates Farhad’s efforts, she does not have the same feelings for him. In the quest to win Mahi’s heart, Farhad finds himself forming a special bond with his creator and becomes a devotee of love. Farhad and Mahi initially met at the wedding of her best friend in Lahore. Over the wedding functions their friendship blossomed. Mahi saw this time as a release from her strict life at home. She enjoyed Farhad's company but saw this nothing more as platonic. Whereas Farhad on the other hand was falling in love with Mahi. After the wedding in Lahore, Mahi returns home, But to her surprise Farhad joins her after a while in order to win her heart and to know if she reciprocates his feelings. Farhad becomes part of the working crew as a guard when he finds out Mahi hails from a very rich and influential family. Not only can he not talk with her and he can’t even see her. Another female servant, Sajal, who works there, falls in love with him, but he rejects her. Farhad doesn’t mention his intention with his close friend that he becomes with while staying there. Mahi is getting married to another Rich person and Farhad can not bear the news. He tries to talk with her, but Mahi continuously rejects him. He isn't able to take the rejection. According to Farhaad, he can reject others, but a girl can't reject him. Although Mahi has already rejected him, he continues to disturb Mahi and make her guilty for not reciprocating his love. Mahi starts to think about him due to her guilt. Farhad is getting ready to leave the place after Mahi tries to break his heart by telling him that she needs a rich guy when infact she wanted to save his life from her family out of humanity. Turns out Farhad fell under the train and is now dead. The news have been broken to the family. But little do they know while they are getting ready for Mahi’s wedding Mahi faints to the news. Mahi’s nikkah and ruksathi take place but during the wedding procession, Taimoor is shot on the way to Multan and dies. Mahi is eventually persuaded to marry Taimoor's elder brother, Sikandar. This is the start of Farhad's curse and Mahi will now lead a life of trials and tribulations.
