The Chinese romantic comedy LOVE ON THE ROCKS serves up a bubbly confection of Asian pop cinema starring members of the Cantonese rock group Twins. When Annie (Gigi Leung) unceremoniously dumps her boyfriend Wong (Louis Koo), the jilted beau is so lovelorn that he seeks out Internet relationship expert Crystal (Charlene Choi) and ends up sparking a sweetly comic love triangle.

Sakamura Mahiro, an employee at the high-class old inn known as 'Kataoka', has an ambition to marry a rich man and live a comfortable life because of her previous relationship. Her goal is to find her 'ideal prince' with money, honesty, and values in a marriage partner that she will not negotiate on. While working at Kataoka, she comes to meet Kouya, Yugo and Keiichi as she searches for her ideal partner...

With a beard and casual clothes, there’s this sense of a laid back atmosphere about him, often speaking out in a slow manner. The first film in the omnibus, follows a kawaii model who finds herself tormented by zombie-like creatures in a haunted ryokan. The second film finds a young woman terrorized by something that looks like a giant blind red...thing, looking for eyeballs no less. The third film involves a haunted mirror and the fourth and final film involves killer dolls similar to Child's Play.
