This feature by Ryuichi Hiroki (Vibrator and It's Only Talk) is a contemplative study of the emotional swings of a teenage girl who is dying from cancer. After learning that she has only three months to live, Nagisa (Maki Horikita) goes to her hometown to visit Satoshi (Shunsuke Kubozuka), her first love. As Nagisa stays with him, she finds out about Satoshi's love affair with a married woman. Slow moving, the film dispenses with melodramatic performances, opting instead for the feel of a home movie.

Xiao Han, who runs a small lodge, is the prettiest girl in the little village on Hainan Island. Her humble background and lowly education makes her unconfident, yet she is still optimistic, hoping for her very own happiness. Jie Luo is the haughty son of a woman who is in command of a big business group. He was asked by his mother to help her in renovating some parts of the island, and thus lived in Xiao Han's lodge.

Sang-eun, a beautiful 20-year-old girl, but is mentally challenged. One day, she happens to meet Jong-Bom and deludes herself to think him as a beast under the vicious spell. Her mother who has taken care of her with such dedication feels a bit concerned and neglected as her love begins. However, least expected hardship come up and Sang-eun has to face the world all by herself.

Set in the 18th century, the film follows the continuing exploits of cartographer Jonathan Green as he undertakes a scientific and supernatural journey that leads him from England to China. Along the way, he discovers Russian Tzar Peter I in prison in the Tower of London under the watch of pugilistic Warden Hook, as his wife Lady Emma discovers the Chinese Princess posing as Jonathan’s assistant Chen-Lan. As Tzar Peter escapes and joins a Russian ship, he tails Lady Emma as she uncovers an imposter robbing the Chinese people while posing as Princess Chen-Lan.
