This drama is about the life of the fourth king of the Joseon Dynasty of Korea, King Sejong who is considered the greatest king in Korean history for creating Hangul, the Korean alphabet and having many skilled followers such as Jang Yeong-sil. Rumi Kizaki (Yua Shinkawa) failed to enter a university. She enrolls in a nursing program, but she does not want to become a nurse. Rumi believes she wouldn't make a good nurse, because she is not very good with personal relationships. She agonizes over wether to quit nursing school and try to take the university entrance exam again. While she ponders what to do, she continues her training in nursing. While receiving training, Rumi meets new colleagues, her first love and the patients. She discovers new things about herself and decides to become a nurse once and for all.
