From a life insurance salesman, Yamada Hanio changed occupations to work at an advertising agency as a copywriter. He had a good background, salary which others probably envied. But one day while walking on his regular route to work, he tries to take his own life all of a sudden. However, he does not succeed. This makes him start a business selling lives. He begins to face up to life as heresponds to the series of very bizarre requests which he unexpectedly gets.

The show follows three teams of celebrities who want to raise pets taking care of other celebs' pets. Seung-hee and Park Jae-jeong, who have no real experience with the theory, are in charge of Kim Min-kyo's six dogs. It is a pleasure to look at all those cuties, but taking care of them is quite a challenge. Kwak Dong-yeon will petsit Cheetah's dogs and cats. He has raised dogs, chickens, and rabbits, but he has never raised a cat. Can he be a friend with cats? Lee Yeon-bok will take care of Lee Young-jin's dog. He lost his pet due to illness a long ago, so he takes such good care of Cream, the dog. Through the pet sitters' hard but enjoyable, and sometimes touching experiences, the show recounts the true meaning of a companion.

Rengo Shiraki, a popular movie star, is found dead-along with a suicide note-by his best friend, Daiki Kawada, a struggling actor who dreams of achieving the fame and fortune Rengo has enjoyed. The suicide note prompts Daiki to write and publish Rengo's biography, the success of which unwittingly throws Daiki into the limelight. Struggling to come to terms with Rengo's suicide as well as with fame he can not really call his own, Daiki sets out to discover the truth behind his friend's death.
