Pretty but deadly Jade Leung is a novice policewoman who helps collar a vicious bad guy with the help of a wimpy pimp (Jordan Chan). However, said bad guy escapes and kills her uncle. Bent on gaining revenge, she travels to Mainland China to catch the perp with the reluctant Jordan in tow. In retaliation, Jordan spends most of his energy trying to escape his pint-size captor. Stephen Tung's film is one long chase, with Jade chasing Jordan, the two of them chasing the bad guy, the bad guy chasing them, and finally Yu Rong-Guang (as the nice mainland cop) chasing everyone.

Ex-boxer Sakai now lives a normal life fixing pachinko machines under the friendly eye of his aging boss Tsumura. When their long lost mutual friend Mizuguchi suddenly shows up, their placid routine is soon overrun with yakuza gangs and corrupt police officials, all of whom become increasingly hostile to Sakai and Tsumura. Believing Mizuguchi passed along "the package" to Sakai, they abduct the elderly Tsumura and attempt to blackmail and physically harass Sakai. Things look pretty bleak indeed until Sakai begins re-evaluating his pachinko-mending ways.

A young boy by the name of Asahina Daigo was once rescued by a fireman. Ever since then, he has wanted to become a firefighter like the hero who saved him from the flames. Now he's all grown-up and has recently received his credentials as a firefighter. However, the firefighting brigade he is assigned to is the so-called "Me-Gumi," the nickname of the Medakagaoka Fire Brigade, which at first glance seems to have absolutely no fighting spirit whatsoever. In reality, this is the home of a group of seasoned professionals led by that legendary firefighter Commander Gomi. They're active on the front lines, constantly putting their lives at risk. The innocent Daigo, burning with a sense of justice and of mission, battles together with his "Me-Gumi" compatriots, suffering, laughing and crying together with them as he develops into a topflight firefighter in this moving human drama.

Sundae lives in a dormitory that is owned by Mrs. Jam and her son Sky. One strict rule is that no boys are allowed in the dormitory. However, Sundae is torn between her ex-boyfriend and new potential love, who will she choose?
