A series of serial killings was exposed and created a stir among the public, several death notifications signed by "The Darker" appeared and to counter the provocation of the mysterious killer, the police created a special investigation team.

An assassin who is fresh from his latest kill becomes stranded in an island, when he inadvertently befriends a female police officer (Celina Jade). As the night progresses, the unspoken truth honored by the two sides of the law is broken. After the remains of a body that belonged to a drug lord and syndicate crime leader are found, chaos ensues and criminals ravage the once peaceful streets in a race against time to find the mysterious murderer that's loose and out for blood.

When Hikari Morimura was 11-years-old, she dreamed of becoming a musical actress. She was close with a musical actress, but the actress was murdered. Her older brother Kunihiko was dating the actress and he was arrested for her murder. Hikari Morimura left her hometown and changed her family name from Morimura to her mother's maiden name of Kitazono. Hikari is now 26-years-old. She still dreams of becoming a musical actress, but her life is tough. She works at a bar and also takes care of her mother. She hears that her older brother Kunihiko has been released from prison. She wants to say goodbye to her brother for the last time as he ruined her life. When Hikari meets her brother, he tells her "I am innocent" and disappears.

Shomuni is a comedic TV drama serial based on the Japanese manga of the same name by Gumi Yasuda. The stories revolve around the Office Ladies of General Affairs department 2 (Shomu ni, or GA-2) in a large multinational company called Manpan Corporation. GA-2 is called "the graveyard for female office ladies", simply because it is the place where female employees are dumped should they mess up big time elsewhere. Jobs include replacing used toilet rolls, changing light-bulbs, organizing company outings, among other menial stuff. As an added incentive, their department is located in the nether regions of the company - in the basement, and is in fact a disused store room. However, it is these Office Ladies who always seem to solve the problem, and have created a niche for themselves within the company. This is one of those rare TV series that spawned follow ups the following seasons.
