When Hikari Morimura was 11-years-old, she dreamed of becoming a musical actress. She was close with a musical actress, but the actress was murdered. Her older brother Kunihiko was dating the actress and he was arrested for her murder. Hikari Morimura left her hometown and changed her family name from Morimura to her mother's maiden name of Kitazono. Hikari is now 26-years-old. She still dreams of becoming a musical actress, but her life is tough. She works at a bar and also takes care of her mother. She hears that her older brother Kunihiko has been released from prison. She wants to say goodbye to her brother for the last time as he ruined her life. When Hikari meets her brother, he tells her "I am innocent" and disappears.

The story mainly takes place at the fictional Nadao Bangkok College, where the characters attend upper-secondary school. All the main characters are followed throughout the season, with each episode focused on one or a few of the characters and the issues they experience

Neerapa is a plain looking woman that has a charming smile. She's dating Jarinthorn, a handsome smart guy who's the only son of a general. They're planning on getting married soon. One day, Neerapa suggests that he should apply for a job at Tippapa's company. She is Neerapa's best friend. Jarinthorn gets a warm welcome from Tippapa's family. Tippapa falls in love with Jarinthorn after they start working together. He still loves Neerapa but he decided to be with Tippapa for stability since she's wealthy. Neerapa is hurt after hearing the news that Jarinthorn and Tippapa are getting married. Her family and Patcharapol, Tippapa's cousin, try to comfort her. Patcharapol is in love with Neerapa but she was in a relationship before. Now that she's single, this is his chance.
