Fujita Yoko is a single mother who goes through a divorce. Afterwards, she returns to her parents' home and struggles to raise her child, also attempts to revive her parents' gyoza restaurant. She falls in love with pro golfer Ryo Iwahara.

Seo Young, a graphic designer in her early 30s, works in an office in Seoul that is high up in a skyscraper, despite the fact that she suffers from vertigo. The story follows her as she enters into a romance with a man who works on the face of the building as he fixes it, moving up and down by rope. The pair meets through a window.

"The Lion Men: Ultimate Showdown" picks up after Mikey (Wang Weiliang) and Babyface's (Maxi Lim) superb performance in the first round of the competition. Shi Shen (Tosh Zhang) becomes jealous of Mikey, especially after he discovers Mikey's feelings for Xiao Yu (Eva Cheng). More determined to succeed, Shi Shen spends every waking hour in training and neglects Xiao Yu. As the finals approach, Xiao Yu begs Shi Shen to withdraw from the competition after he is nearly injured in a sabotage attempt.
