Another Era is a sister production to TVB’s 1999 epic At the Threshold of an Era , and stars Roger Kwok (郭晉安), Frankie Lam (林文龍), Tavia Yeung (楊怡), Niki Chow (周麗淇), Pakho Chau (周柏豪), Benjamin Yuen (袁偉豪), and a special appearance by Linda Chung (鍾嘉欣). Another Era is also Tavia’s comeback drama with TVB since ending her management relationship with the company back in April 2016.

Family members learn the whereabouts of the father (Lily Franky) who vanished without a trace 13 years ago. However, he dies of cancer three months later, leaving Koji (Takahashi Issei) and his family members without closure. Koji and his family think they can't reclaim the lost 13 years, but the stories told about their father by mourners at the funeral reveal the truth that was unknown to the family.

This TV show will introduce singers, rappers, dancers but also people who are able to produce music or choreograph.
