To promote the city of Oita, the mayor instructs Chiaki to form a female tug-of-war team.

Round One: Tae-shik was once a silver medallist in the Asian Games. Gambling debts and a factory fire have consumed everything he ever owned, leaving him no choice but to work as a street boxer in order to make ends meet. All he has left is his wife and sonâand his wife demands a divorce. His son Seo-jin, the only light in his life, will go with her. With his back against the wall and nothing left to lose, an amateur-league bout offers the only hope for the battered boxer. Round Two: Teenager Sang-hwanâs routine of gang fights and muggings is interrupted by a pressing debt. To make the money, he robs a wealthy neighbourâand promptly ends up in a juvenile detention centre. A fight on his first day lands him in solitary confinement. A guard wisely suggests that he direct his violent aggression into boxing, something that gives him, for the first time in his life hope and a sense of direction. But during his sentence, his father dies and his grandmother has a stroke. To overcome his grief, Sang-hwan enters an amateur-league boxing match. Round Three: The preliminaries for the amateur championship begin, and so too does the inevitable clash of Tae-shik and Sang-hwan. Tae-shikâs old skills gradually return as he beats boxer after boxer, while Sang-hwan knocks out every opponent. The two men finally meet at the final match, and they are equally matched. Tae-shik has no place left to go while Sang-hwan is fighting for someone else for the first time in his life. The fight of a lifetime has begun! "G-Love" centers around a has-been professioanl baseball player (Jung Jae-Young), a female school teacher (played by Yu-seon), and a group of deaf high school baseball players. Friendship & love are explored in the film, set within a countryside backdrop. Fading star baseball player Sang-Nam (Jung Jae-Young) finds his name more in the media these days for his boorish behavior. The latest of which involves Sang-Nam involved in a drunken brawl and swinging a baseball bat. His agent Charles (Jo Jin-Ung) then advises Sang-Nam to take a job coaching a team of hearing-impaired players at a rural school to help rebuild his image. Sang-Nam arrives at the school with the boys welcoming him with open arms, but Sang-Nam is less than enthusiastic about his new gig. The boys have never won a game, there's only 10 players (with 1 available pitcher) and Sang-Nam is clueless on how to coach a team who can't hear. There's also Ms. Na (Yoo-Sun) who works as the music teacher and baseball manager. She's ultra protective of the boys and chastises Sang-Nam for his condescending attitude. Sang-Nam already wondering when he can go back to the pro league is counting his days until he can go back to the LG Twins. Then something happens.

Chak De! India (English: Go India!) is a 2007 Hindi-language Indian sports drama film about field hockey in India. Directed by Shimit Amin and produced by Yash Raj Films, with action by Rob Miller of ReelSports, the film stars Shah Rukh Khan as Kabir Khan, the former captain of the Indian hockey team. In the plot, after a disastrous loss to the Pakistan hockey team, Khan is ostracised from the sport. He and his mother are further forced from their ancestral home by angry neighbours. Seven years later in an attempt to redeem himself, Khan becomes the coach for the India women's national field hockey team with the goal of turning its sixteen contentious players to win the women hockey world cup. His team at first hates him due to his strict training regime (and attempts to make them work as a team) and pressurises him to resign.But soon his team realises its mistake and apologises to him. He then convinces the administration to allow the women's team for world cup and wins the world cup astonishing everyone and leading the women's team to the Gold, Khan restores his reputation and returns with his mother to their home, welcomed by those who had shunned them years before.
